About Arabella
The story behind the nose.
Arabella K. Federico founded ParfumDene in 2026 after years of working as a licensed hair and makeup artist with a major cosmetics company. During her time in the beauty industry, she developed a trained sensitivity to product quality, marketing claims, and the gap between what brands promise and what consumers actually experience.
What started as personal fragrance notes and recommendations for friends and clients evolved into a full editorial platform. Arabella noticed that most online fragrance reviews were either thinly veiled advertisements or recycled manufacturer descriptions — rarely written by people who had actually worn the scent for more than a few minutes.
At ParfumDene, she set out to change that. Every fragrance on the site is tested for a minimum of five days across varying conditions.
